Katelyn is one of them nerds who knows too many things because seemingly she has nothing better to do beside learning random facts. For this reason, she has described herself as a "Knowledge Gremlin" and "Data Goblin", which therein lies the secret to stopping her rampaging: she is very susceptible to being Nerd Sniped.
I dunno why the last text was in 3rd person. Anyways, I'm one of those STEM nerds who gets upset at not being able to learn everything. If I could, I'd throw myself into a time loop and just learn. I primarily direct my eccentricities at [whatever term defines the mixture of ME, CS, and EE]; whatever random biology/zoology facts have captured me this week; and Pokémon (because I am an enthusiast of the 'Mon). This website is a byproduct of point number 1; I do enjoy dabbling in a bit a coding. However, I will note that I am most familiar with Java and am woefully unfamiliar with the HTML/JS/CSS rogue's gallery, especially for someone throwing themselves at this website-making chicanery with little use of available resources: Who needs a CMS when the interwebs are right there!
20 +/- 10 years ago or so (as of writing this), people made website for themselves, their dogs, whatever. And now people just kinda don't??? Which I think is kinda boring??? So I am doing the radical and practically unheard of thing of going against the status quo and doing it anyways. Revolutionary, I know. Truly one of a kind. Nobody has ever done anything like this ever in the history of all things. They should probably deify me right here right now. And give me a planet. Or two. And Andromeda. And half of the Zodiac Constellations (only the ones corresponding to composite-numbered months (i.e. 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12)). I'M GONNA BRING IT (the making of personal websites by random nerds) BACK!*
* Katelyn will certainly fail at bringing it back.
The things scattered across this site are essentially just the random things I made when I felt like making whatever I felt like making. Most of these things were made as one-offs, many before I even conceptualized putting them on a website. Some of my creations may not work on your device or browser. To which I say: I'm not a professional web-developer and probably never will be. Go find a computer that uses firefox and it'll maybe work. Try zooming in or out, that might fix something. I make things when I feel like making them and add them to the website when I get around to it. It's a miracle I even got this page created.
To find the things I've made, go to The Menagerie, which is essentially my portfolio, but I've classified all of my projects by the names of animals because obfuscation is always a good idea.
(I just like animals and pretending my stupid projects are important enough to have project names. Like, "Project Anaconda" sounds important and cool; this is probably definitely unrelated to The Anaconda Plan, that thing is definitely doing no heavy lifting in how enticing that name is. Shush)
There's probably other things I'm missing here. I'll add them later when I realize I should've added them earlier.
